Magic Moon by Mike Berger, USA

Magic Moon

The moon is just a piece of flying rock
whizzing round and round.
Deep in the human psyche, it works
strange magic;
it whispers love.

Benevolently it smiles down
scattering pixie dust.
Hearts of lovers and join;
responding to its spell.
It joins Cupid as he slings his arrows.

The moon and Cupid conspire
to perpetuate the human race.

MIKE BERGER, PhD is bright, articulate, handsome, and extremely humble.
